Hello and welcome to the March Share Six blog circle. This month our new theme is very appropriately ~frozen~ and that certainly has been the case here in most of Scotland! Thankfully it has thawed now, although for how long who knows....... I love to use my Lensbaby lenses when it is frosty and snowy, the bokeh and blur they make are beautiful. All the ones below have been taken with my Velvet 56 apart from a couple - the glow and velvety painterly look is gorgeous when you open up to wider apertures, I tend to use f2.8/f4 most of the time. It has definitely become a firm favourite as it is so versatile, I especially love it for macro. “Silence can always be broken by the sound Of footsteps walking over frozen ground In winter when the melancholy trees Stand abject and let their branches freeze ” ~ Merrill Moore I hope you enjoy my interpretation of the theme, remember to click on the link below and follow the blog circle to see what the other talented Share Six ladies have come up with this month! I am part of a group of photographers, Share Six, who blog 6 images on the 6th of each month with unique monthly themes. Please continue around the circle until you get back to this page by clicking HERE to see how the extremely talented Sharleen from Sharleen Stuart Photography interpreted this month's theme. Join us for this month’s theme by posting your { frozen } images on our Facebook page at SHARE SIX and to our Instagram gallery, by tagging #sharesix and #sharesix_frozen A new theme will be posted on 6th April.
