Happy New Year to everyone and welcome to the first Share Six blog of 2019. Wishing you all a happy, healthy and creative year ahead. Our first theme for this year is ~wide~ so it is open to your interpretation, whether it is wide open aperture, wide angle or wide open spaces. I have started another Project 52 for this year and my theme is going to be Abstract, so I thought I would add a few here as they also work with the wide theme. I made it up to Oban for New Years Day despite being under the weather and managed to capture the first sunset of 2019 out at the beach in Connel. On our way home I tried out some long exposure from the car ( passenger seat! ) I have also added a few from December 2018 taken in Glasgow and Edinburgh with my Lensbaby Circular Fisheye - always a good call for getting a wide shot. I hope you enjoy my interpretation of the theme, remember to click on the link below and follow the blog circle to see what the other talented Share Six ladies have come up with this month! I am part of a group of photographers, Share Six, who blog 6 images on the 6th of each month with unique monthly themes. Please continue around the circle until you get back to this page by clicking HERE to see how the extremely talented Katherine from Cobert Photography interpreted this month's theme. Join us for this month’s theme by posting your { wide } images on our Facebook page at SHARE SIX and to our Instagram gallery, by tagging #sharesix and #sharesix_wide A new theme will be posted on 6th February

Janet these are amazingly brilliant, I love all the landscapes and I can't wait to see more of your abstract images this year.

WOW! That diversity and gorgeousness! I love the top right landscape with the ripples in the water and the street light flare in the bottom left is simply amazing. So intriguing!
