"Art has the power to transform, to illuminate, to educate, inspire and motivate." ~ Harvey Fierstein Hello and welcome to our November edition of the the Share Six blog circle. This month our theme is 'transform' so I thought I would share how I 'transform' an image by changing aperture or using my Lensbaby Omni filters. Aperture refers to the opening of a lens's diaphragm through which light passes. It is calibrated in f/stops and is generally written as numbers such as 1.4, 2, 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11 and 16. In intentional camera movement (ICM), if you stop down (make diaphragm smaller) and the camera is moved during the exposure you get a creative or artistic effect. This causes the image points to move across the recording medium, producing an apparent streaking in the resulting image. Using the Lensbaby Omni Crystals and Wands you can get creative with in-camera effects, light distortions and double exposure type effects. They can add an ethereal painterly look to your images. ~ Meaning of transform ~ make a marked change in the form, nature, or appearance of. ~ Until next time, enjoy reading the wonderful blogs ❤︎ I hope you enjoy my interpretation of the theme, remember to click on the link below and follow the blog circle to see what the other talented Share Six ladies have come up with this month! I am part of a group of photographers, Share Six, who blog 6 images on the 6th of each month with unique monthly themes.
