Hello and welcome to the July edition of our Share Six blog circle, this month our theme is 'Summer Sun' We managed a couple of nights away last week and had a wee trip to Arbroath which is on the East Coast of Scotland. The weather played ball for a change and we had beautiful sunshine - it also warmed up a bit, even with that East coast sea breeze! There are so many beautiful coastal walks and we certainly got our steps in and did plenty of walking. The first 4 images here were taken on our evening stroll along the cliffs and the sunset overlooking this field was spectacular! I used my Trio 28 twist for the first two and the Velvet 85 for the next two, the Velvets do add an extra gorgeous painterly glow. The last two images were taken at the summit of Tomtain which is the most prominent of the Kilsyth Hills - the easterly extension of the Campsies. I used my Lensbaby Sweet 80 and Omni filter, again it was another beautiful sunset. “Ô, Sunlight! The most precious gold to be found on Earth.” ~ Roman Payne I hope you enjoy my interpretation of the theme, remember to click on the link below and follow the blog circle to see what the other talented Share Six ladies have come up with this month!
