Hello and a very Happy New Year everyone, welcome to our first Share Six Blog Circle of 2020. I hope you had a lovely peaceful Christmas and I would also like to wish you all a very happy, healthy and creative year ahead, with plenty of photographic opportunities!! Our theme for the month of January will be ~macro~ Although I love to photograph macro images and I was so looking forward to trying out my new Lensbaby Omni filter kit along with my macro extension tubes, I have to admit I had to delve into my archives to find images I hadn't edited or posted before as I haven't had the opportunity to get out with my camera recently, hopefully that will be remedied soon now my back is on the mend and I get out and about again! I hope you can go out and see the small details normally missed, just look a little bit closer and it’s a whole different world! “When you pay attention to detail, the big picture will take care of itself.” ~George St-Pierre I hope you enjoy my interpretation of the theme, remember to click on the link below and follow the blog circle to see what the other talented Share Six ladies have come up with this month! I am part of a group of photographers, Share Six, who blog 6 images on the 6th of each month with unique monthly themes.
Please continue around the circle until you get back to this page by clicking HERE to see how the extremely talented Sharleen from Sharleen Stuart Photography interpreted this month's theme. Join us for this month’s theme by posting your { Macro } images on our Facebook page at SHARE SIX and to our Instagram gallery, by tagging #sharesix and #sharesix_macro A new theme will be posted on 6th February.

I am glad to read that your back is on the mend. That is so frustrating. I love you macro images. The water drops are perfect and the 2nd image is so soft and delicate - I also love the fine hair on the wire. I look forward to seeing what you get with the omni lens and macro extension tubes.
